An Open Letter to President Obama

"We wholeheartedly agree with the statements that you made as President-elect on December 7th, 2008 during your interview on MEET THE PRESS*. Furthermore, we consider that both TARP and your Stimulus Package now being reviewed in congressional conference each have good merits of their own and if implemented with the right timing they could be able to provide some help to the Financial and Economic situation that our Nation is facing today."

Since this letter was written to President Obama –a little over 12 months ago- those proposals were passed into law but the results so far are still in accordance with our declared forecast in that letter. The economy continues its decline, foreclosure numbers are still growing, property values are not improving and unemployment is worse than it was at that time.

During a meeting the Hon. Representative granted us back in March of 2009, we told her that a moral crisis was about to take place in the our country in regards to the Real Estate situation if appropriate measures were not established. Our warning on that situation has also become true. Every day more and more property owners who once were trying their best to maintain ownership of their properties even at great sacrifices, have stopped making their mortgage payments as they feel betrayed and abandoned in this crisis.
